Background
AREA15 engaged Ecko Marketing to strengthen the foundation of its developing media sales initiative across a diverse portfolio of advertising and sponsorship opportunities in Las Vegas.
The six-month consulting engagement focused on organizing, packaging, pricing, and presenting the inventory so advertisers, partners, and internal teams could move forward with greater clarity.
The Challenge
AREA15 had significant opportunity across exterior out-of-home media, interior digital screens, static placements, murals, event sponsorships, tenant advertising, and emerging digital placements. Existing sales materials, pricing structures, and packages needed refinement to better support how advertisers evaluate and purchase media.
The complexity extended beyond sales. Inventory also supported events, partnerships, tenant promotions, and AREA15’s own marketing initiatives, creating a need for clearer coordination across sales, marketing, creative, events, and operations.
Ecko’s Role
Serving as a Media Sales Consultant, Ecko evaluated how AREA15’s advertising opportunities were packaged, priced, presented, and taken to market. The work combined media strategy, sales enablement, business development, and operational consulting.
Strategic Approach
Drawing on more than a decade of media experience, Ecko developed a more flexible rate structure incorporating frequency, rotation levels, campaign duration, and incentives for longer commitments. This created a stronger fit for advertisers with different exposure goals and campaign lengths.
Ecko also advised on workflows for inventory availability, creative assets, scheduling, fulfillment, and reporting so the organization could support what it promised to advertisers.
Execution & Deliverables
The engagement included a new out-of-home media kit, refined media pricing and rate structures, reorganized event partnership materials, tenant media support, advertising inventory organization, go-to-market materials for emerging digital placements, business development outreach, and sales and fulfillment workflow consulting.
The Impact
AREA15 gained newly developed and refined advertiser-facing materials, a more flexible media pricing framework, clearer packaging across advertising and sponsorship opportunities, support for bringing emerging media products to market, and strategic recommendations for the operational foundation behind media sales.
The project demonstrates Ecko’s strategy-led approach: before pushing an offering into market, make sure the positioning, pricing, sales tools, and operational foundation are built to support it.
